Bosma Dance Presents: House of Cards

House of Cards is a female duet inspired by the wood engravings of artist Rosemary Feit Covey. Performed by dancers Alice Wylie and Francesca Jandasek, the work is a delicate balancing act between two women attempting to stand up straight with one another.

Maintaining a sensual and physical connection, two pairs of legs and arms intertwine as one; spikes of a skirt get in the way; uncertainty builds tension. House of Cards is a provoking look at how we balance in relationships and with ourselves.
